Vision systems for overhead cranes

Vision systems for overhead cranes aim to move the operator’s point of observation from where they are to where the hook is.

The system shows in the cab what happens under the load: the placement point, obstacles and any people present in the area.

ITEM PoE switches for video stream management

ITEM carries signal and power along the runway and all the way to the trolley, even in harsh environments.
Our type-approved PoE switches transmit up to 150 m with up to 90 W of power, and our cameras are PoE-powered.

The configuration is designed in the field around the specific constraints, avoiding off-the-shelf solutions. Every project starts with a site survey and ends with a ready-to-use system.

We build systems that withstand extreme conditions, with military-grade cameras and heated or liquid-cooled versions in dedicated housings, as well as thermal and ATEX cameras.

The standard range is extensively certified:
IP68 at 2 atm, ECE R10, anti-fog by design, from -55 to 125 °C.
